The Strathearn Heights Redevelopment Advisory Committee was formed in April 2006 to ensure effective, ongoing two-way communication between the community and the Project Team, and to give a wide range of interests in the community a formal vehicle through which they can forward their thoughts on the proposed redevelopment to the owner/developer.
From discussions at the Advisory Committee, a number of issues and questions were identified. Those identified areas prompted the Advisory Committee to form three Working Groups to discuss these issues in detail with those residents who have particular interest. The Project Team issued invitations to community members to join any of the three Working Groups of interest to them.
The Working Groups began meeting in August 2006 to discuss traffic, height and density and parks and open space.
